Why Allegra

Community

Allegra is proud to serve the Evanston area, and we recognize that our business can only remain as strong as the community we serve. We are committed to educating our customers about direct marketing and print communications that will make the most of your messages and your resources.

Non-Profit Organizations

We are especially dedicated to helping Evanston's charities, schools, healthcare institutions, trade and business associations, and other nonprofit organizations – whether to attract volunteers, generate funding, or make other contributions.

Faced with increasing competition, these organizations must strengthen their visibility and name recognition to effectively serve our community, and we are happy to support their efforts in kind. If you represent a Chicago-area nonprofit, please contact us to see how we can help your organization. We are proud to work with high-profile organizations such as Northwestern University and the Wilmette Chamber of Commerce. Some other groups we currently sponsor include:

I moved to Evanston when I was 13.  My dad took a job in the NU athletic department and instantly became a fan of the school.  My mother also went to grad school at Medill in the late 70's so we've been around NU for a long time.  The very first job that I did when I got in the printing business in 1985 was for NU's Wrestling tournament that is held annually.  We will be running this job, much differently than the first time, for the 26th time this year, so needless to say, we been connected with NU from the very beginning.

We value the relationship with NU and understand there importance not only to our business, but to Evanston as well.  Most of our contacts have been developed through word of mouth from one department to another and their recommendations.  I think that most of this comes from the versatility that we are able to offer which we have enhanced this year with the purchase of Sign One.  A lot of departments within NU look from vendor to vendor to do jobs for them, what we want to be able to provide is that one-stop shop that can partner with them on most if not all their projects.

From the signage inside Ryan Field to business cards for the students at Kellogg and hundreds of other projects in between, Allegra and NU have a strong partnership that continues to grow and we hope it will for years to come.
